Serial no. D82661. Manufactured in 1917 by Birmingham Small Arms Company, chambered in .303 British,25" round barrel. The bore is good with strong, well-defined rifling noted throughout. Serial numbers are non-matching. The metal and stock have been refinished, giving the rifle a clean and uniform appearance. The No.1 Mk. III rifle was the standard British service rifle of WWI, widely issued across the British Empire and known for its smooth action and rapid rate of fire in trained hands.
