Serial no. 20314. Manufactured in 1915 at the Lithgow Small Arms Factory in Australia, chambered in .303 British, 25" round barrel. Bore is dark with rifling remaining visible. Serial numbers are non-matching, while the metal has aged to an even grey patina. The stock shows expected handling and service wear consistent with its age and military use. Manufactured during WWI, this is a solid example of an early Australian-produced SMLE from the Lithgow factory. Action functions correctly.
