WW2 German Army Tarnmaske "Sniper" Face Mask (12343628)

Original World War II German Army cold weather reversible "sniper" face mask in the "Splittermuster" ("splinter-pattern") camouflage pattern. Item was made from Zeltbahn material with three cotton twill face ties & 10 grommets over the mouth for breathing. These were actually more likely to be worn by machine gun crews than snipers & are infamously associated with the Dirlewanger "Black Hunters" anti-partisan brigade that operated in Belarus & Poland.
