WW2 COLLINS V-44 SURVIVAL KNIFE GREEN HORN HANDLE W/SHEATH (68034)

Original Collins No. 18 V-44 Survival knife, early variation with the Green Horn handle. Produced from 1934-1942, issued with the Army Air Force survival kits attached to the parachute harness then later made famous in the Pacific when they were used as fighting knives by the USMC 2nd Raider Battalion under Col. Carlson. 9.5" blade, 14" OAL, some scuff marks and patina with normal wear but the blade is full and it comes with the original leather sheath. Overall a very nice rare piece.
