Price: $1,050.00
Item Number: L2025-14573
Houston Location.
Previously sold
Serial number 175113. Made in October 1917 with a 26-inch barrel that has a bright bore with strong visible rifling. Overall condition is good with thinning original factory blued finish that has aged into a dull brownish patina with a few areas of light oxidation. The walnut furniture presents the dings & handling wear one typically expects to see on a military service rifle that fought a World War more than 100 years ago but there are no cracks in it. Accordingly, this is a great shooter grade example of the service rifle that did the bulk of the fighting with the American Expeditionary Force on the Western Front during the Great War. Rear sling swivel is missing.
