C231331 model 1897 made in 1904. 12 gauge pump action takedown shotgun with exposed hammer originally a long barrel field shotgun with MOD choke marking cut down to a riot gun configuration making the barrel a fixed cylinder bore. Barrel is 22" with a 2 3/4" chamber. Metal has been refinished and is in good overall condition. Furniture is original with the original butt plate and a small crack in the top of the butt stock but other than that in good solid condition with an excellent bore.
