WINCHESTER MODEL 42 DELUXE SHOTGUN 410 (L2025-00590)

SN: 83785 made in 1950. Takedown pump action 410 shotgun with a 26” barrel, 3” chamber, fixed modified choke, and factory Winchester “Doughnut Base” vent rib which was introduced in 1954 so it is likely this gun was sent back to the factory to add this option. During the process of adding the vent rib, the factory would have to refinish the metal which could explain the slight discoloration of the action. Nicely figured checkered walnut furniture with Winchester pistol grip cap, Winchester butt plate and high quality oil finish. Some light handling marks but overall in very good condition with an excellent bore.
