Winchester Henry rifle. Barrel, frame stock and butt plate all match. Butt plate screws are mismatched. One of the tang screws is matched the other two are un-numbered. This is a very early gun with the swamped belly stock, early style butt plat and dovetail notch in the frame. The barrel has a nice even brown patina and the frame is an ideal aged brass patina. The stock has coins inlayed on either side of the wrist. Bore is pretty typical, there is strong rifling with areas of pitting. Very good and very early Henry rifle that has all the desirable early features!
