Winchester 1873 Raised Thumbprint Dustcover rifle. In excellent condition. Three digit serial number. Serial number 708. Made in 1874. 97% original finish. Good case on lever, hammer and butt plate. Wood is excellent. Bore is excellent and action is tight. Cleaning rod is still in butt. Gun has set trigger. Gun comes with letter confirming all features as seen. Only the first 2500 Winchester 1873's had a raised thumb print dust cover and this feature was eliminated as it was too costly to produce. This is a gun that would be near impossible to improve upon.
