Serial 935. Very Early gun made in the early 1900s. 455 caliber with a 6” barrel. This gun is in excellent condition with 90%+ of the original blue. The grips are very good. The Left hand side has a chip at the corner. This gun has a unique design that cocks the hammer after each shot. This mechanism allows for faster firing while maintaining the low trigger pull of a single action revolver. The Fosbery design was reported to have been as fast if not faster than its magazine fed semi-automatic counterparts and as fast to load if a speed loader was used. It was used during WWI and also was popular among target shooters.
