Very Rare Naval Contract LeMat revolver. This gun is one of one-thousand contracted by the Confederate Navy and manufactured between 1864 – 1865. This is a London LeMat and the barrel is marked “LeMat & Girard’s Patent London”. Small British proof marks are on the barrel and cylinder. This gun is in very fine condition with over 50% of the original blue remaining. All numbers match, as well as assembly numbers. Action works perfectly. Very fine example of a Confederate Navy contract LeMat!
