Unit-Marked WWI German Spandau Gew. 98 Bolt Action Rifle – 8mm Mauser (L2025-11643)

Serial No. 7606m, manufactured in 1916 by Spandau Arsenal, 8mm Mauser, 29” round barrel. Serial numbers are matching throughout. Barrel retains much of its original blue, thinning to a brown patina, while the receiver is in the white with light surface oxidation noted. Imperial proof marks are visible. Stock has been refurbished at some point and bears a unit disc marked “B.12.R.9.162.” Action is smooth and functions correctly.A well-preserved and unit-marked example of a WWI German Gewehr 98, produced at the Royal Spandau Arsenal and representative of Imperial front-line service arms.
