In stock
Serial No. 365313, manufactured in the spring of 1887, chambered in .45-70 Government with a 32 ½” round barrel. Metal surfaces have aged to a smooth grey patina, with factory markings remaining visible. The stock shows light handling impressions consistent with service use, and a faint government inspector’s cartouche is still discernible. Action is tight and functions correctly. A solid example of a late 19th-century U.S. infantry rifle from the Indian Wars period.
