Serial No. 483098, made in early 1889, .45-70, 29.5” round barrel. Bore is excellent with strong rifling visible. Barrel retains 85% original blue with thinning noted at the muzzle area. Breech has beautiful case coloring visible. Stock has minimal handling wear noted, the number “56” is stamped just forward of the butt plate. Action functions correctly.
