Serial no. 3531970. Manufactured circa 1942 by Remington Arms Company, chambered in .30-06 Springfield,24" round barrel marked “R.A./Flaming Bomb/3-43.” The bore is bright with strong, well-defined rifling noted throughout. The rifle remains in overall very good condition, showing light handling and storage wear consistent with service use. The Model 03-A3 represents a simplified wartime production variant of the M1903, incorporating stamped components and a receiver-mounted rear sight to expedite manufacturing during WWII.
