Serial No. 5400. Made by Cranston Arms in 1941 with a 22-inch barrel chambered for the .30-06 cartridge. Bore is bright with strong rifling & there is a sharp crown at the muzzle. Overall condition of the metallic parts is excellent & the action functions as it should, but the wood furniture is a new-made reproduction stock set. This rifle was made for the Netherlands Purchasing Commission, so the rear sight assembly is graduated in meters. Action is smooth and functions correctly.
