U.S Model 1941 Johnson semi-auto Rifle .30-06 (R43984)

Serial No. B7837. Made by Cranston Arms in 1941 with a 22-inch barrel chambered for the .30-06 cartridge. Bore is bright with strong rifling & there is a sharp crown at the muzzle. Overall condition of the metallic parts is excellent & the action functions as it should, but the buttstock is a new-made/reproduction while the forward handguard is original wood. This rifle was made for the Netherlands Purchasing Commission, so the rear sight assembly is graduated in meters. Since this is a military contract rifle, it is equipped with the bayonet lug for the proprietary Johnson Rifle spike bayonet.
