U.S. Model 1803 Flintlock rifle. Lock dated 1819 and is in very fine condition. Barrel has about 60% of the original brown with the remainder turning into a smooth patina. Barrel no longer has rifling. Nice sharp proofs on the barrel, and the wood is very fine. This is an expert reconversion. A very sharp flintlock and a scarce martial long gun!
