SN: 1327265. Made in 1941, .30-30 with a 16" barrel, bore is excellent. From the collection of Texas Ranger Ron C. Stewart, this saddle ring carbine has been highly customized. The barrel has been cut to 16", the receiver has been engraved with scroll and inscribed "R.C.Stewart/SGT. Co E/Texas Ranger", and the lever has been customized with a large loop. The metal has a smooth aged brown patina and the wood has been refinished and looks excellent. An outstanding and well made piece, great for any collection of Texas Ranger and lawman arms.
