Serial number 333958. Made in 1916. 45 LC caliber with a 4.75” barrel. This gun is in excellent condition as factory refinished. On the right hand side of the rear trigger guard bow. The grips are one piece ivory. This gun has a very well done action job. This gun comes from the collection of retired Texas Ranger Ron C. Stewart. Retired Texas Ranger Ron Charles Stewart was a highly regarded law enforcement officer who served with the Texas Rangers for over 14 years, with a career spanning from 1970 to 1995. Following his 1970 graduation from the DPS Academy, Stewart served as a Highway Patrolman and an undercover narcotics agent. He later served as a Texas Ranger from 1980 to 1993 in Central Texas and later in the "Big Bend" region until 1995. After retiring, he worked as a U.S. Marshal special deputy and was a certified firearms instructor. Born in 1945, he was also a U.S. Army veteran. The Texas Ranger Association Foundation recognized his service and career contributions.
