Serial No. 1040, made in 1874, 12.17x44mm, 33” round barrel. Bore is good with light surface frosting noted in the grooves, rifling remains sharp. Barrel and receiver are a smooth grey patina. Barrel bands have been replaced with U.S. ones. Factory markings are sharp, stock has minimal handling and storage wear noted. Action functions correctly.
