Stevens 47 32-40 caliber rifle. This is a model 47 “Modern Range” and is marked “47” on the face of the frame visible when the forend is removed. This is an example of special options or features one could order for their rifle. This rifle has fancy feather Walnut in both buttstock and forend. The rifle has a tang rear sight and a Spirit level front sight. Checkering was another added feature. Special order 24” barrel length. Caliber 32-40 (always a popular Target caliber). Bore is excellent. Frame and buttplate and lever have 98-99% bright case colors. The action works perfectly. The stocks are excellent as is the perfect checkering. The barrel has 98-99% original blue. Very fine special order Stevens.
