Springfield M1 Garand rifle .30-06 (L2025-12626)

Serial number 729249. Made in June 1942 with a July 1942 dated 24-inch round Springfield barrel with British import marks on the left side & a bright bore that has strong visible rifling. Equipped with a milled Springfield trigger guard, a radius cut Springfield op rod & a "BME" marked T105E1 adjustable rear sight assembly made by Borg-Warner, Inc. The wood furniture is in very good condition although there is a crude repair on rear handguard. The gas cylinder, gas cylinder lock, front sight & rear handguard band have all been painted black. Comes with a M1943 webbed sling with MRT markings.
