This gun has everything expected of a National Match rifle: NM (National Match) barrel, NM gas cylinder, NM 062 front sight, NM rear sight assembly, 7790722-SA NM op rod, numbered to the gun trigger group, and properly bedded stock. The SA (Springfield Armory) 7791035 barrel is dated 2/63 (Feb 1963). Overall condition is excellent with even dark parkerized finish. Stocks are excellent. Butt plate has a nicely struck defense acceptance stamp and circled P proof stamp. The bottom of the pistol grip has a yellow painted “6”. The stock also has a DCM decal. Action functions correctly. This is a super circa 1963 M1 National Match rifle.
