Previously sold
SN: 6133, Made circa 1868, .50-70 with a 32.5" barrel. Bore has oxidation visible in the grooves, rifling still remains strong. Barrel and other metal parts have scattered surface oxidation and discoloration. Stock shows expected handling and usage wear with repairs noted at the wrist. Lock plate is dated 1863 with standard factory markings forward of hammer. Cleaning rod is missing, breech and action are tight and function correctly.
