Serial no. FR8-01759. Manufactured in 1955 at Fábrica de Armas La Coruña, chambered in 7.62x51mm,19.5" round barrel. The bore is good with strong, well-defined rifling noted. The metal has aged to a dark grey patina with faint receiver markings still visible. The stock remains in good condition, showing only minimal handling impressions. The FR8 was developed by Spain as a training and transitional rifle to familiarize troops with the controls and handling of the CETME battle rifle while utilizing surplus Mauser actions. The action is smooth, mechanically sound, and functions correctly.
