SN: 4103. Early bolt-action military rifle made by Spandau Arsenal in 1886. 31½" round barrel chambered for the 11x60mm Mauser black powder cartridge. Very good condition with around 95% of original blue with a patch of cleaned rust in front of the second barrel band and on the receiver tang. Wood is great with some handling marks. Bore is bright with good rifling. All matching serials. Buttplate unit marking is for the 3rd Garde Grenadier Regiment, Ersatz (replacement) Battalion 1, Waffe (rifle) #157.
