Smith & Wesson Triple Lock .455 Eley (PR33915)
Price: $4,250.00
Item Number: PR33915
Previously sold
Smith & Wesson Triple Lock .455 Eley caliber revolver. Excellent condition Triple Lock in rare .455 Eley. Rare commercial gun with no British proofs. This is a .455 Eley commercial model sold in the U.S. Excellent bore. Gun has 98% blue. Bore is excellent. Grips are excellent. Note: while this revolver has perfect clear markings and edges, there is a factory “star” mark at the lanyard stud on the butt. In our opinion, this gun was possibly a .44 Special when first manufactured and was returned to the factory to be changed to a .455 caliber. A letter from Roy Jinks, the Smith & Wesson factory historian, would clarify the “star” mark.
