SN: 52857. Made in 1937, .357 Magnum with a 6.5" barrel. Pre-war Registered Magnum revolver. The metal has been refinished and the gun has a wide spur target hammer and custom Fuzzy Farrant combat grips. These grips require the front corner of the grip frame to be clipped off, which has been done to this gun. The gun is in overall excellent condition and has seen little use since being refinished. The gun comes with a factory letter stating the gun gun was shipped to Marshall Field and Co. in Chicago, along with copies of correspondence between Marshall Field and the factory. Additionally, there is historical information about Fuzzy Farrant and his grips. An interesting example of a desirable pre-war S&W revolver.
