Excellent British military contract .455 Hand Ejector, inscribed “E.O. Blunden R.E.” on the sideplate. Lt. Blunden served with the Royal Engineers in WWI, later becoming a Captain and serving in WWII also. The gun is in exceptional condition for a British military gun; these are often found with lots of wear and tear on the finish. This gun has about 97% original bright blue finish with scattered marks. The grips are fine with a few light marks. The bore and action are excellent.
