SN: A764252. 1980's vintage 9mm with a 3.25" barrel. Rare and desirable ASP conversion of a full size S&W 439 pistol into a custom compact carry gun. One of the first subcompact pistols ever made, the ASP was extensively customized and had many special features that put it ahead of its time. This special edition ASP is part of the "Quest For Excellence" limited series of which only 100 were produced. The gun is marked “The Quest for Excellence/ 019 of 100”. The grips are black buffalo horn with transparent windows which match up with cutouts in the magazine. This is #19 of 100 and remains in excellent condition overall. This is a rare special edition version of an already very rare pistol.
