Serial no. A93597. Manufactured in 1956 by Webley & Scott, chambered in .38 S&W, with a 5" octagonal barrel. The bore is good, showing light frosting in the grooves while rifling remains strong and well defined. Approximately 45% of the original blue finish remains, primarily on the frame and in protected areas. The revolver is fitted with a side-bar safety and is marked “SPF/1035,” indicating issue to the Singapore Police Force. Police-issued Webley revolvers from Singapore represent an interesting chapter in the post-war service life of British firearms throughout the Commonwealth.
