Serial number C28770. Made circa 1863-1865. 50-70 caliber with a 30” barrel. This a cartridge conversion converted in 1867. Approximately 1086 of these rifles were converted to cartridge. This gun is in excellent condition with virtually all of the factory finish. The wood is excellent with nice sharp cartouches. This is a top notch example of a Sharps Model 1863 Military Rifle Cartridge Conversion!
