Serial no. 025185. Manufactured circa the 1970s–1980s at Chinese Factory 0223, chambered in 7.62x39mm, 20.5" round barrel. Bore is bright with strong, well-defined rifling noted. Serial numbers are matching throughout. Rifle remains in overall very good condition with only minimal handling and storage wear noted. A scarce and interesting Factory 0223-produced Type 56 SKS, representing one of the less commonly encountered Chinese arsenal variants and offering additional collector interest over more frequently seen examples. Action is smooth and functions correctly.
