Serial No. 2639, circa 1870’s, 41RF, 2 13/16” octagonal to round barrel. Bore shows frosting and pitting inside the grooves, traces of rifling noted. Barrel, hammer and trigger are a smooth patina with a faint “BALLARD on top of the barrel visible. Frame has an antique brass patina finish with nicks and dings noted. Action functions correctly.
