Scarce British Enfield SMLE Mk I*** Bolt Action Rifle .303 British (L2025-11902)

Serial No. G103, manufactured in 1905, .303 British, 25” round barrel. Serial numbers are matching throughout, with the bolt arsenal restamped “G113,” the original “G103” still faintly visible beneath. Magazine is unmarked. Rifle retains its original magazine cutoff and sliding charger guide on the bolt face—features characteristic of early SMLE production. Stock shows scattered nicks, dings, and scratches consistent with extensive field use. These early Mk I*** rifles were issued to the Royal Navy and saw heavy service during the Gallipoli Campaign. Action is smooth and functions correctly. A scarce and historically significant early SMLE, representing one of the rare surviving examples from Britain’s first generation of Lee-Enfield service rifles.
