50 caliber made on the large action. Very fine condition for one of these. Most of these guns are pretty rough condition. This gun is actually very fine with excellent blue on the barrel and remnants of case colors left on the frame. The frame is more of a gray patina with the pattern of the case colors visible. Wood is very fine. The cartouches are visible and excellent. The left hand side of the butt stock has what appears to be some sort of a rack numbers. Most of these guns were sold to France. This gun is so nice, it may not have been issued.
