NSN, made circa 1878-1888, .38RF Short, 3 ¾” octagonal barrel. Bore is good showing frosting with light oxidation visible in the grooves, rifling remains fine. 94-96% dull nickel finish is present with scattered mottled areas of flaking and surface oxidation noted. Hard rubber checkered grips are good with the right grip showing a chip at the bottom. Action indexes correctly with a tight lock up.
