Serial number 4094626. Made in October 1944 with an August 1944 dated Remington 24-inch barrel that has a bright bore with strong visible rifling. There is an "FJA" cartouche next to an ordnance escutcheon on the left side of the stock above the trigger. Overall condition is very good with a dull gray phosphate across the metallic parts & American Black Walnut hardwood furniture that reveals only light handling wear. Comes with a reproduction M1934 webbed sling & a USGI cleaning kit in the buttstock.
