SN: 154302. Manufactured April-June 1881 by Springfield Armory in .45-70 Government. 32.5” round barrel. Bore is excellent. Bluing and case hardening are strong with little wear visible. Wood is in good shape, with some scuff marks on varnish, cartouche visible. An amazing example of a rare trapdoor rifle in which only 1000 were produced.
