NSN. Made circa 1789. 75 caliber with an 11” barrel. The barrel is half round half octagon with a mottled gray patina. The barrel is marked “Regim. To DE CABALLa DE Volvnts” which translates to Regiment of Horses of the Volunteers which shortened would be the Volunteer’s Cavalry Unit. The Stock is very good. There were 12 different Cavalry units in total. They were del Rey', 'de la Reina', 'del Principe', 'del Ynfante', 'de Borbon', 'De Farnesio', 'de Alcantara', 'de España', 'del Algarbe', 'de Calatrava', 'de Santiago' and 'de Montesa', and the two light regiments were 'de la Costa de Granada' and 'de Voluntarios de España'. This is an extremely rare Spanish military gun! (DALLAS LOCATION)
