NSN. Made Circa 1789. 72 Caliber with an 11” barrel. The barrel is half round half octagon with approximately 30% of the original blue. The barrel is gold inlaid “Regim. To DE CABALLa DE LA Reyna” which translates to Regiment of Horses of the Queen which shortened would be the Queen’s Cavalry Unit. This is a more deluxe model 1789 with the brass furniture relief cast and hand chased with beautiful scrolls with a floral motif. The stock also has carving. Very deluxe Cavalry pistols with the extra decorations. There were 12 different Cavalry units in total. They were del Rey', 'de la Reina', 'del Principe', 'del Ynfante', 'de Borbon', 'De Farnesio', 'de Alcantara', 'de España', 'del Algarbe', 'de Calatrava', 'de Santiago' and 'de Montesa', and the two light regiments were 'de la Costa de Granada' and 'de Voluntarios de España'.
