Serial No. 572-1 (in Farsi), manufactured circa 1950, 8mm, 18” round barrel. Serial numbers in Farsi are matching throughout. Finish has thinned to a smooth grey patina, while the receiver prominently bears the Persian crest. Stock shows light surface handling marks consistent with minimal service use.Action is smooth and functions correctly. A scarce Persian M49 carbine, produced in limited quantities and prized for its distinctive markings and fine postwar craftsmanship.
