Rare Dutch Dog Lock pistol circa 1660-1670. Barrel is 14 ¼” and overall length is 22 ½”. Lock and Dog as well as Cock are all engraved with flowers and birds. Has a silver buttcap. Triggerguard has a leaf pattern on the upper and lower ends. A matching leaf pattern is carved in the stock behind the tang. This is a lovely and elegant flintlock pistol. In very good condition.
