Rare Colt №1A Root revolver in very fine condition. Serial #268. Has the hexagonal loading lever which is the “Trademark” indicator of the №1A Model Root. Gun has an excellent cylinder scene. Gun has approximately 70% original blue. (Lucky to find any blue on a 1st model much less find 70%). Action works perfectly. Grips have 98% original varnish. Case is excellent. Mold is a mint “Bowleg” brass mold. Comes with an Eley cap can and a tube oiler. Rare cased set.
