R.F. SEDGLEY CUSTOM SPRINGFIELD 1903 SPORTER RIFLE 30-06 (L2026-07444)

SN: 97952 made circa 1930's. Custom hand made bolt action hunting rifle built on a Springfield 1903 action chambered in 30-06 with a 24" round barrel, banded ramp front sight with sight hood, barrel band sling swivel, Lyman peep sight and a period Griffin & Howe quick detach Windage Side Mount holding a Zeil - Dialyt 2 3/4x scope with post reticle. Original hand made checkered walnut stock with Schnabel forend, pistol grip cap and checkered steel butt plate. Front sight has some slight discoloration, a couple small spots of light patina on the barrel and some light handling marks on the stock but overall in very good condition for the age with an excellent bore.
