Serial no. J0565. Manufactured in 1960 at Factory 26 (Jianshe Arsenal),chambered in 7.62x54R,20 ½" round barrel. The bore is dark with visible rifling remaining. Serial numbers are non-matching. The metal has developed an honest grey patina with markings remaining strong and legible. The stock shows expected handling wear consistent with field use. Notably, the stock is fitted with a presentation plaque reading: “PRESENTED TO MAJOR CISNEROS / DISTRICT SENIOR ADVISOR / BY MAJOR DOAN-HIEU DISTRICT / CHIEF DUC FO QUANG NGAI.” The rifle is accompanied by remnants of bring-back paperwork. The referenced location, Đức Phổ District in Quảng Ngãi Province, was an area of intense and sustained combat throughout the war.
