PRE-WAR WINCHESTER MODEL 70 RIFLE 30-06 (L2026-00457)

SN: 19616 made in 1939. 30-06 bolt action hunting rifle with a 24" round barrel, ramped front sight, rear sight has been removed to clear the Simmons Whitetail 6.5-20 scope. Checkered walnut stock with original butt plate. Moderate wear and handling marks on the stock but no cracks or any damage. Action has filler screws where a sidemount was previously attached, barreled action finish is good with light wear, most of the bluing worn off the bottom metal and some rust on the steel butt plate. Overall in good solid condition with an excellent bore.
