Serial No. 1445998, manufactured in 1934, chambered in .30-06, with a 24” round barrel marked “S.A. / Flaming Bomb / 5-38.” This rifle represents the final evolution of peacetime M1903 production before the outbreak of World War II. The 1934-dated receiver and May 1938 barrel indicate it was assembled during a period of low-rate production with high attention to fit and finish prior to the rapid build-up of WWII. The stock remains in very good condition with light handling wear consistent with careful service or storage. It bears the “RA-P” rebuild cartouche, denoting inspection at Raritan Arsenal. Metal finish shows expected wear from age but remains uniform. Action is smooth and functions correctly.
