Pre-war S/42 Kar98k carbine 7.92×57mm Mauser (L2026-01353)

Serial number 7697k. Made at Mauser Oberndorf in 1936 with a 23.6-inch barrel that has a bright bore with strong visible rifling. This pre-war Kar98k is in overall very good condition with thinning original factory finish across the metallic parts & laminated beechwood furniture. The stock shows limited handling wear & the handguard is matching in color & condition. There is a Navy Arms import mark on the left side of the barrel near the muzzle. Comes with a leather sling & cleaning rod.
